The IT Manager leads the IT function for our business, advising on solutions and innovations to help the company achieve our goals, better serve our clients and support our people to do their jobs simply and efficiently.

 

About You

  • Proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes, including security and data protection regulations.
  • Able to empathise with colleagues and to instil a customer service orientation within the team.
  • Extremely organised and able to run an orderly department with a proven track record of managing an IT Support Desk.

The Role

  • As the department lead you will work closely with the Cello Health Insight and Breaking Blue senior management teams and with the Cello Health Group IT function to align the business’s IT function with the expectations of the Group and to recommend the best strategies and solutions for the business.
  • You will be responsible for the IT systems of Cello Health Insight UK, US, and Germany, Cello Health Group Head Office, and Breaking Blue Research within our offices in London, Manhattan and Berlin. The role will be based at the Charterhouse Buildings office in London, but very occasional travel to the US and German offices may be required.  Regular remote working is permitted by agreement.

 

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes, including security and data protection regulations.
  • University degree or equivalent college qualification in computer science or 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • Desirable qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner
  • PRINCE2 or other project management qualification
  • Business Administration qualifications.
  • Creating and maintaining IT policies and procedures.
  • Financial and contract management relating to an IT department.
  • Maintaining and managing computer hardware and systems, including telephone and audio/visual systems.
  • Security hardware and software experience.
  • Infrastructure monitoring and testing.
