Adding real value in the real world
Jan 2014 – In order to position themselves as the partner of choice to bring about smoking cessation, the sales and marketing team for a smoking cessation product were looking to determine the real value of such interventions to best meet the needs of commissioning bodies.
They saw the development of an innovative cost modelling tool – in partnership with public health experts and NHS stakeholders – as the way to demonstrate to commissioners and local authorities the value of smoking cessation in terms of short and long term cost savings.
A range of Cello Health capabilities, including Consulting and Communications, were called on to deliver the project, from running co-creation workshops and building the model to launching the model externally to the right decision makers, including critical decision makers in the NHS.
Having specialist teams working together under one roof – one team, with one objective – made the whole process much simpler for our client, with more opportunities to provide strategic counsel and support decisions with real world evidence.
